Wu Gan’s Secret Trial: More Than 20 Supporters Detained, Foreign Journalists Taken Away

Fujian rights defender Wu Gan (screenname “the Butcher”) was tried at the Tianjin No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court for “inciting subversion of state power” in a closed hearing on the morning of August 14. The areas around the court were heavily guarded, more than 20 supporters were picked up in Tianjin and became incommunicado, and several foreign journalists were taken away.

2017年8月14日9时许,经过十小时火车奔波来到了天津二中院附近,得知朱承志大哥等人已被带到挂甲寺派出所,我、刘星、丁玉娥走到交通管制区湘江道口处,国宝上前盘问身份后说要核实刘星、丁玉娥身份,将二人带往挂甲寺派出所,国保又来问我身份证,我说没带,也不记得号了,问我姓名,告其;孙东生,哈尔滨人,国保记下就走了,我在此处与派出所警察聊天,执勤警察说不知开的什么庭,他们只是做上面安排的工作,一直聊到晚上18点左右,其间出去吃过两次面,接挂过几次电话,小睡一觉,发现湘江道口国保警察等人逾百,交通管制线一直到桥上,约两公里,重点三处,湘江道口,法院对面(有隔离带),大桥处口,参加管制的有国保支队,治安支队,巡警队,交警,派出所的各口执勤,保安,路政负责摆放管制栏,附近居民说总共人员约四、五百人,阵式不亚于周永康被审!不知审的什么案子,管制线内有居民区,检查院、医院等单位,上述单位人员也需绕道走后门,一处公交站点暂时停用,10许听到大桥口处有人被国保控制,在二中院对面有两三名美国之音记者被离去,又有两名日本记者被离去,晚18时许执勤警说明天(15日)继续管制,丁能还要开庭,20时许管制栏还在,下午看到丁玉娥发出的信息,被分流到河北区鸿顺里派出所,等地方来接,我赶到鸿顺里派出所,晚21时05分,山东五六人开鲁V 190P白色面包车将丁玉娥从鸿顺里派出所截走,我照了像顺势躺在道牙子上,今晩就这了[捂脸][耶]
