Cao Shunli, a Beijing rights defender who had been actively calling for public participation in China’s international human rights reporting to the UN, has been missing since September 14. Cao’s younger brother has reported her disappearance at the local police sub-bureau. In this statement the author calls for a collective effort to look for Cao.
